Due to a water main break on Columbus Ave in Perkins Township, the Purple Line is currently unable to service the stops at Columbus/Lakeland & Columbus/King.
Due to construction at Water and Wayne Streets, buses are currently unable to serve the Water/Columbus bus stop. Please use the transit hub or Washington/Jackson stops. We apologize for the inconvenience. We will update when the stop is back in service.
π΄π‘ Red Line and Yellow Line Service Alert
From April 1 - May 8, the Red & Yellow Lines will be re-routed down Farwell St. instead of Cedar Point Dr due to roundabout construction. Riders may expect slight delays.
The Cedar Point Express stop on Yellow will be out of service
Due to a water main break on Columbus Ave in Perkins Township, the Purple Line is currently not servicing the following stops:

Due to deteriorating weather, STS will suspend service today, Sunday 1/25, at 1:30 p.m. The final Blue Line departs downtown at 12:30 p.m. and will complete its normal route. Service is scheduled to resume at 6 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26. Updates will be shared if conditions continue.
Due to the Level 3 Winter Weather Road Condition Warning in Erie County, STS service is currently suspended. Service will resume after the Level 3 condition is lifted.
STS does not run service on January 1 due to the New Year's holiday. We will resume normal operations on Friday, January 2.

The Blue Line is currently running reduced service. Blue 2 (the bus the leaves downtown at :30 every hour) is currently not running. We hope to have Blue 2 back up by the afternoon. We will post an update as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience.
STS will not be operating tomorrow, November 27, due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Regular service will resume on Friday, November 28.

π Effective Oct 1, Sandusky Transitβs Dial-A-Ride hours will be 6 AMβ6 PM, MonβSat. This focuses service during the busiest times, with more buses when demand is highest. Fixed-route & ADA paratransit hours stay the same.

On Sunday, July 20 from 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM, the Downtown Transit Hub will be temporarily relocated due to the IRONMAN 70.3 Ohio event. Buses will begin their routes on Franklin St. between Market St. & Warren St. Buses will be running modified routes during that time.

Earlier today, City Manager John Orzech and Transit Administrator James Stacey went out to the transit depot at the Amtrak Station to check out the 3 new STS buses that were delivered this week.
Erie County is now under a Level 2. Buses are still running, but certain routes are running behind schedule due to the road conditions. Please give yourself extra travel time.
STS fixed route and dial-a-ride service will not be operating on Wednesday, December 25, and Wednesday, January 1.
We will be operating as normal on all other days.
