Remembrance Day is an annual event held on November 11 to honour the end of World War I and to honor all those who have died in conflicts. It is also known as Armistice Day. A 2 minute silence is held at 11am to mark the moment the fighting ended in 1918. We will remember them.
This week is #intensiveinteractionweek2025. Intensive interaction is a way of teaching early communication and interaction skills to people who do not find it easy communicating or being social. Please follow the link for more information https://t.co/OJDK1nhC5U

#DLD#DLDday2025
Today is #DLDday2025 DLD is when a person has significant on-going difficulties understanding and/or using spoken language. DLD is not cause by any other medical condition. DLD affects around 2 children in every class of 30. Almost 700,00 people in England have a diagnosis of DLD
DLD (Developmental Language Disorder) affects 1 in 14 people, yet itโs often hidden.
DLD can impact learning, friendships & everyday life across the lifespan.
๐ Raising awareness means more understanding, support & inclusion ๐

BCU and a panel of parents explained the research they've carried out into how we deliver DLD diagnoses. It made us think about the changes we can make as a team to make this a more positive and less overwhelming moment for the families we support!
