BREAKING: Congresswoman Maxine Dexter motions to subpoena Donald Trump Jr. over the stunningly corrupt $670 million that his dad funneled into a company that he owns a stake in.
It's time for us to start prosecuting these criminals...
"I just motioned to subpoena Don Trump Jr. for funneling $670 million in taxpayer dollars to a critical minerals company he has financial stake in. Republicans left the hearing room," Dexter wrote on X.
The Republicans' refusal to even consider the subpoena motion does nothing to protect Don Jr. in the long rung, it simply delays the inevitable while making it clear that these elected crooks endorse the White House's rampant corruption. If and when Democrats retake Congress after the midterm elections, Don Jr. will lose his protection.
The issue in question is his stake in Vulcan Elements, a rare earth startup. That company received a jaw-dropping $620 million Defense Department loan just three months after 1789 Capital — which Don Jr. is invested in — bought stake in them. Vulcan then received an additional $50 million deal when the government conveniently decided to buy partial ownership in the company.
“For years, Republicans set a clear standard: when the President’s family profits from their name and office, it demands investigation. Suddenly, that standard has vanished,” said Representative Dexter.
“If there is nothing to hide, then why won’t Donald Trump Jr. explain to this committee why, just months after becoming a partner, his firm’s financial stake grew substantially following the single largest loan ever issued by the Pentagon’s Office of Strategic Capital?" she added. "This is the oligarchy on full display, and I’m committed to ending corruption. That is the work of the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee.”
Since day one of this second term, Trump and his family have treated his presidency as an opportunity to steal everything that isn't nailed down. Untold billions have flowed into their pockets — ranging from cryptocurrency grifts to sweetheart deals to likely insider trading and stock market manipulation — and time and again the American people have been stuck footing the bill. After the blue wave this fall, that changes. It's time to start investigating, prosecuting, and imprisoning!

BREAKING: HELL YES! Delta Air Lines announces an immediate end to its special privileges for members of Congress until the MAGA government shutdown ends.
Now they'll have to suffer with the rest of us peasants...
“Due to the impact on resources from the longstanding government shutdown, Delta will temporarily suspend specialty services to members of Congress flying Delta,” Delta stated. “Next to safety, Delta’s No. 1 priority is taking care of our people and customers, which has become increasingly difficult in the current environment.”
The dedicated service desk in question allows lawmakers to obtain government rates for trips, make ticketing changes at the last minute, and book multiple seats on multiple flights on the same day to make it easier for them to come and go for votes.
The decision to end the special treatment for members of Congress comes as airport lines have grown ludicrously long in recent days due to a failure by the Trump administration to reach a deal on DHS funding. The TSA falls under DHS so the partial shutdown has them understaffed and stretched thin. Many employees are going without pay and over 400 have quit.
“TSA officers just received $0 paychecks. That is simply unacceptable. It’s difficult, if not impossible, to put food on the table, put gas in the car and pay rent when you are not getting paid,” several airline executives wrote to Congress earlier this month.
At the Hartsfield Jackson International Airport in Atlanta alone, travelers were urged to a lot at least four hours to pass through TSA. Under total Republican control of our government, everything is falling apart. Illegal wars are being waged overseas as our domestic situation spirals into chaos. Trump can't even keep our airports orderly.
Rather than strike a deal with Democrats to end this burden on the American people, Trump has flooded his undertrained, violence-prone ICE agents into airports around the country. They're predictably terrorizing and detaining innocent people already. On top of that, he's now calling for the DHS funding to be tied to his voter suppression bill, increasing the likelihood that this shutdown stretches on.
If the rest of us have to deal with the negative consequences of Republican leadership, the least that the airlines can do is make them feel our pain!

BREAKING: HELL YES! Governor J.B. Pritzker calls for Trump officials to be "criminally prosecuted" if Democrats retake the White House in 2028 — setting a powerful tone for the entire party.
This has MAGA world and Fox News melting down...
"I don’t think you can speak of it in shorthand, but we’ve got to restore the rule of law, and that means holding people accountable who’ve broken the law," Pritzker told the New York Times. "I’m talking about the people in this administration who’ve broken the law and federal agents who’ve broken the law."
"Criminally prosecuted, civilly prosecuted. Whatever it is that we can do," he added.
He suggested that Democrats adopt their own version of the Heritage Foundation's infamous Project 2025, which he is nicknaming "Project 2029." But instead of pushing us towards a more fascist, kleptocratic society like the Republicans' blueprint, it would be designed to "restore the rule of law."
Fox News is already running breathless coverage of Pritzker's remarks. Fox News Digital reached out to the governor's office asking for specific names that he believes should be prosecuted. His office pointed to a previous press release that called for an investigation into those involved in Operation Midway Blitz — the flooding of masked federal agents into Chicago that resulted in brutal violence and the mass violation of Constitutional rights.
The names listed in that press release included Stephen Miller, Border Czar Tom Homan, and disgraced former DHS Secretary Kristi Noem among other. Those are a great start, but we must go further.
We are dealing with the most criminal White House in American history. Trump is running his administration like a mob boss, with rampant corruption at home and relentless bloodshed abroad. The Democratic platform for the next presidential election needs to be total accountability. We need a full forensic investigation of every law that was broken, every dollar that was stolen, every right that was violated.
That means prosecuting Pete Hegseth for war crimes.
It means prosecuting Pam Bondi and Kash Patel for obstruction of justice.
It means putting Donald Trump in prison for the rest of his natural life for the never-ending litany of crimes that he commits on a daily basis.
If we allow these crooks to get away with what they've done, the rule of law will never recover. Failure to bring them to justice will just encourage the next Republican administration to behave in even more egregious fashion. To save our republic, these people must be locked up.
