@normsworld @jendifrancesco @TCDSB Did the MOE approve motion for smaller kindergarten classes, alternating weeks, across the board? We haven’t heard anything since it was sent to Queens Park.
@Sflecce Wish you’d stop calling this a game. It’s not a game. It’s a pandemic where real people are scared, get sick and maybe die. I guess if you like playing with peoples lives then for you it is a game. Shame on you!
@melissagrelo Thank you for speaking out. I will be going back to a class of 29 kindergarten children. I dont know how I am suppose to distance them safely with 7 or 8 students sitting at 4 round tables. My heart goes out to all the new little JKs.
@Songbird_7_@ponte_ms@normsworld Not really, if you have 2 DECEs for the other cohort. Perhaps tweak the report cards for them if they supervise only the JKs. Teacher is left with the SKs.
@normsworld That’s great but I’m thinking there would have to be 2 DECEs for one cohort. The cost of two DECEs would be less than having to use a teacher. They would handle JKs who are just starting and really need to socialize. Teacher works with SKs who are more ready to learn academics.
@normsworld Couldn’t there be an exception during Covid. I read that Tdsb is discussing with unions to implement changes for various situations, just for Covid.
@normsworld Got that but I’m wondering space wise. Where will the other half go? There’s lunch time to consider. Ever thought of putting 2 DECEs for the other cohort They could take charge of just the JKs.
@DDiGiorgio_ The health and safety of all staff and students, in ALL schools is needed. Covid does not discriminate! Not impressed that not all schools are being looked after.
