I am horrified by the killing of an on-duty OPP officer. Thank you to the officers who apprehended the suspects without incident.
Our first responders are true heroes. We share in the pain felt by family, friends and the entire police community as Ontario mourns this loss.
The murder of Cst. Pierzchala is an outrage.
The alleged killer shouldn’t have been on the streets at all but was out on bail despite repeated gun crimes.
Listen to the OPP Commissioner who said it best. Our justice system is broken and must put victims and public safety first.
@ADtheRebel If he thinks the trucks are so bad, why didn’t he ever make them a priority to be removed from his ward’s Main Street and neighbourhood streets during his 12 year term?
@theJagmeetSingh Agree, but only if it is providing reliable, quality, responsive and accountable service. Otherwise, I’m open to reallocating my tax-payer dollars to a new system that accomplishes the same objective, but with a new model, as the one we have is BROKEN!
@LucilleCollard The Prime Minister meeting with the Premieres to discuss a long-term strategy/solution supported with reallocation of funding from non-essential programs to health care would be a hood start.
@ShawnMenard1 Wow, as a municipal councillor, aren’t you suppose to be unbiased to political parties? How do your anti-Ford comments help build good relations with the province to best serve the residents of Ottawa?
