#hcpsread A5: When Ss ran into trouble, Gravity and Stacy focused on the positive, provided more reminders of the steps or what was done previously, and even provided another mini-lesson. This helped Ss develop a growth mindset & know they could do it!

#hcpsread A3: Doing less over time ensures that students will not become too dependent on Ts to do the heavy lifting everytime. It also allows Ss to make the choices of which strategies can/need to be used and when. We need to grow their independence!

#hcpsread A1: Smaller steps make the task manageable for Ss to perform while working towards the larger goal. This way, Ss can focus on performing while practicing a new strategy. Everything with eLearning can be overwhelming so its best to keep it simple.

#hcpsread Ch7 F/U: I enjoyed modeling using Zoom this week. I was able to model step by step how to find text evidence to determine the main idea in a nonfiction text. I am still not as comfortable modeling on Zoom as I am in person, but it went very well!
