12:30am 05/11/24. After watching the Aurora Borealis slowly improve during the night, I headed out for a better vantage point and took these towards the top of Alba Rd. in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Northern Lights over a redwood forest, who could have imagined!

We are happy to report that Holly the rescued orphaned mtn lion continues to improve. She is much feistier, and has also started eating for us! Our vets remain cautiously optimistic, but she is still under intensive care treatment. We'll keep you posted on this little one ❤️
