@Aquamojo You get back an hour a day. There’s no way to avoid it or hurry it up. Keep forcing yourself to stay awake until your normal bedtime and it will get better. 💕
Dumping #romaine today that was harvested Wednesday and had no association whatsoever with the current EColi #outbreak. Will the next fields get harvested? Wish we could have at least taken it to the #FoodBank. Almost $10/lb. and 6 months of hard work invested.
.@GHGGuru of @ucdavis explains the misconception that livestock represents as much or more GHG emissions than transportation and why meat often gets a bad rap. https://t.co/CgD5W6UTIg
These are incorrect numbers because you compare direct emissions for transportation with full lifecycle emissions for livestock. If you want to compare the global direct transport- to global direct livestock emissions, then the appropriate numbers are 14 vs 5%, respectively.
According to @FAO estimates, methane emissions from cattle have declined over the past 50 years in the US and other industrialized nations (not just per kg of beef, but in total). #sustainability#beeffacts
