A lovely event today to mark the 60th anniversary of the Wright family establishing @Wyedeanweaving in Haworth. The company, which can trace its origins back over 170 years, manufactures military uniforms, braid, insignia, regalia and accoutrement.

I spent a great morning @CastlefordColl at their Give Construction a Try day. Enabling school students to get a taste of the wide range of opportunities in the construction industry.

It was a great pleasure, along with @LordMayorLeeds and @joropner1 @LL_North_Yorks, to wave off the aid convoy of seven @yorkshireaid vehicles, setting off from @bowcliffehall heading to Ukraine. The 8th convoy in 24 months, a magnificent effort by a great Yorkshire charity!
