I'm excited to share that my book, Basketball to Business is almost here!
I also wanted to provide a quick update. I apologize for the delay in the release. I had surgery on May 1st (everything is good!), which pushed our timeline back a bit.
The good news is that we're now back on track, and the Amazon launch date is getting very close.
Thank you for your patience, encouragement, and support throughout this process. Your messages, comments, and enthusiasm have meant so much to me.
Stay tuned—the official launch announcement is coming soon!

I didn’t expect that slowing down would change everything.
For the first time in years, I wasn’t moving at full speed.
And in that stillness…
an idea found me.
One that I had been chasing for years.
It made me realize something simple—
sometimes the breakthrough doesn’t come when you push harder…
it comes when you finally pause long enough to see it.
This is one of the many moments I share in my upcoming book.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been sharing that I’ve been working on a book.
I’ve been fortunate to have a few people read it early, and I’m grateful for their feedback. This one meant a lot to me, especially coming from someone I’ve known for many years.
Thurl Bailey—NBA legend, 1983 NCAA Champion, and Emmy Award–winning broadcaster - invited me to perform at his basketball camps over the years, and I’ve always respected the impact he’s made both on and off the court.
Here’s a small part of what he shared after reading the manuscript:
“Her journey is an incredible testament to resilience, passion, and the power of a dream… This book is a must-read for anyone seeking motivation and a reminder that even the most unconventional dreams can take flight.”
I’m thankful for the encouragement and support as I get closer to releasing the book.

Last week I shared that I’ve been writing a book and invited anyone interested to join the list to be notified when it’s released.
The story starts with how I started spinning basketballs and eventually leads to building Skillastics — along with the ups and downs along the way.
