I just published So you’re starting a new development team… https://t.co/zYfKEUtejh Some (hopefully useful) guidelines to help those new to development leadership avoid some of the bumps I've hit along the way. #softwaredevelopment#agile#SoftwareEngineering
@AdamHDomby That's a sentence I've literally never heard before, I'm hoping there is no "next time." I think I'd be hard pressed to vocalize coherently upon hearing such a thing. #whitewash. .
I just published IT and Business Continuity: Some Takeaways from the Colonial Pipeline Fiasco https://t.co/dPAXxEdfRa #ColonialPipelineHack#ColonialPipeline
I just published Working with #kubernetes configmaps, part 2: Watchers https://t.co/pCFG9A4lZP
Dynamic handling of changes to a #configmap (and almost any other type of kubernetes resource) in #golang. Part 3 will go back to #knative and possibly Python.
@bruinengineer@Strava@StravaSupport@StravaEng@Strava could have used better UI design to solve this instead of just converting all the segments to private. Let the user decide what he/she wants to see. This feels like a performance/scaling issue that they "solved" by reducing user function. :-/
My latest blog entry: Working with kubernetes configmaps, part 1: volume mounts https://t.co/MkUOnRIVOW followup topics to include configmap watchers and using python. #Kubernetes
@StravaSupport@Strava@StravaEng Not a fan at all of https://t.co/n2UYQJCrHE There are many stretches (cliffside road e.g.) with no segment at all. #strava
