@EmmanuelAcho@SpeakOnFS1 You are confusing a vulnerability moment w/ being “cowardly”. If you truly remember the story of Courage, you would know that your analogy isn’t… analogous. Confident people are allowed time to be emotional and vulnerable. I dare say, the same latitude you ask for black men.
@DjPrivateRyan@DjPrivateRyan ain’t never lied! Me and my crew could buy a small apt complex with how much we have spent in Trinidad over the last 14 years
More carnival facts. The notion some trinis have of "those foreigners" is somewhat snobbish. These are the people that have spent, saved and sacfriced to come here to enjoy our culture and music every year. We should embrace their presence
@DjPrivateRyan We were able to relive past carnivals with the music at the fetes. I remember my first ever carnival experience in 2009, we heard all songs from the previous five carnivals and the soca classics at fetes, which helped me develop an appreciation for Soca music and it’s history.
@DjPrivateRyan I think saying 6 is hyperbole but as a foreigner that has been to Trinidad now 11th times since 2010, the parties used to play more of the older songs to build up. Now every DJ set is basically the same at every party with last year’s hot songs and the current year’s songs.
@thriftycars has to be the worst rental car company ever! How do you prepay for a car rental and they make you waiting in a line for over an hour to pick up?!?!?!
