We are also aware that this issue has been faced by multiple people. We request the authorities to do something to ensure hospitals don't take such liberties. Please amplify so it reaches them. @CMODelhi@SatyendarJain@MoHFW_INDIA@thewire_in@ArvindKejriwal
We recently received a call from a 24-year-old in Delhi, complaining of unbearable pain and the unavailability of a hospital bed. She is a cholelithiasis patient who was being treated the last few months at Dayanand Hospital. When she visited this week, she was turned away.
We are looking for an emergency bed for her at AIIMS or Safdarjung Hospital, failing which we will attempt to cover her treatment at a private hospital. It doesn't seem fair to us that hospitals can turn away ongoing patients on a whim, especially in cases of emergency.
Along with @sang_ashoka and MTSN Delhi team, we sent out a bus from #Delhi to Muzaffarpur for 30 people for #migrant families to reach back to their #home.
