On this day, we honor the late Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr. who helped inspire a movement against Martial Law in the Philippines. SOSS Sanggunian would also like to commemorate the Filipinos who fought and who continue the fight against forms of dictatorship in our country.
