As a man let me say it plain. Most men ain't sitting there thinking how they can play with good love. They panic when it land in they lap. You bring peace to his house and he start picking fights, going cold, blaming stress, blaming work, blaming timing, anything but himself. He ain't scared you love him. He scared love gonna ask him to become a man he never had to be before. So instead of growing into it, he burns it down and call it bad timing.
i always love to hear a story where two lovers realized that they had been in the same place at the same time before they officially met. like oh, the world has been wanting you two to meet all this time. it's just as eager as you are, but it must wait for the right moment
Fun fact:
If you’re only valued when you’re radiant, sensual and sweet but not when you’re sad, frustrated, or needing emotional depth then you’re being objectified and this goes for friendships too
The sexiest thing a man can do is learn you. Not just love you, but understand you, know how to show up for you, recognize your silence, remember the little things, and make you feel seen. It's never about grand gestures, it's about being intentional in the ways that matter most.
I think in romantic relationships it’s important to know when to show up as a romantic partner on some days and then when to just show up as a friend or maybe it’s just me
i have to marry somebody who takes holidays seriously. a family person. birthdays, graduations, anniversaries... everything must all be celebrated fully in my household.
