At least 9 males ran in the Female category in UK parkrun today.
One got 1st Female. His total haul of 1st Female finishes is well over 100 now, and thanks to him, the total number of 1st Female finishes held by men (that I’m aware of) is now 290. He also got 3rd by age grade…
@TomasJHeneghan@KDc0m3h0m3 There’s obviously no point in going backwards and forwards with this. I understand that you’re defensive on behalf of the blood donating service as you’re an advocate for them. I am simply pointing out that qs phrased like this will be confusing for many people. That’s all
@KDc0m3h0m3@TomasJHeneghan It’s the Q itself that is confusing. An average person with no knowledge of trans ideology language may be confused with the Q and answer incorrectly. Which doesn’t help the blood donating staff. With Qs asked of the general public the principle is keep it simple. This doesn’t.
Totally fascinating clip. The 👀 that @Jonathan_Hinder gives Derbyshire, as she actively works to get him to describe ‘trans rights’ as a ‘middle class hobby horse’ - which would be quite a gotcha - followed by her disconcerted silence when he just says ‘men’ instead.
She knew exactly what he was thinking of, and he knew exactly what she was doing. But the work on renormalising natural language has paid off. A couple of years ago he would have had to say ‘trans’ in some form, or ‘gender’, to describe events. Now he can just say ‘men’ and the power of that language trickery drains away completely.
@DrCarlHindy But that is exactly what is happening.
Men are entering female rape crisis centres, joining the WI and lactation support groups for new mums. All under the guise of being a ‘woman’ .
If anyone can simply identify into the class of ‘woman’ then the sex class doesn’t exist
‘They just want the dignity of being confirmed in their sex … or their ‘adopted sex’, if you like.’
I wonder if this is the kind of person the BBC’s Nick Robinson had in mind when he made this comment during a recent BBC Radio 4 interview about the EHRC’s guidance on single-sex spaces.
And I wonder whether he realises that, if people were entitled to have their ‘adopted sex’ recognised under equality law, women would be unable to exclude men like this from their changing rooms, toilets and even domestic violence refuges.
I also wonder whether he would want that for his wife or daughter. Or feel it was ‘dignified.’
@Scott_Wiener I dare you to meet with these 2 female athletes that were forced to share a podium with a boy. Tell them to their faces they don’t deserve fair and safe sport.
@micheal_olainn I am pretty sure they would agree to your proposal.
However I doubt it would stay a female space for long - As soon as something is female only it never takes long for men to demand access

@TheatreSpoonie Do you not see how it is part of the same issue? - The UK has a misogyny problem.
Boys are being told it’s ok to rape. And men are being told they can go into women’s spaces, even if women say ‘no’ as long as these men say ‘I am a woman’.
And it is women who are the victims.
