India is moving toward a major restructuring of its space ecosystem, with ISRO gradually stepping away from routine rocket and satellite manufacturing while private companies take over commercial production.

The biggest mistake in the Tejas Mk2 debate is asking:

“Is it AMCA?”

No.

AMCA takes it into the stealth era.

A complete indigenous fighter-aircraft ecosystem.

That's why Mk2 isn't a detour from AMCA.

It is part of how India becomes capable of building AMCA.
