During this momentous occasion, the Hon'ble Chief Minister inaugurated three innovative initiatives of the Forest Department:
1. #elephant movement tracking #mobileapp

Grateful and honored to witness the grand celebration of the state-level Van Mahotsav in #ranchi on 28th July, with the esteemed presence of Shri Hemant Soren, Hon'ble Chief Minister, Jharkhand as the chief guest.
The month-long campaign aims to increase awareness among citizens and encourage them to take an active role in preserving the environment. The human art activity created by the students of Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Shyamali was an innovative way to showcase the Mission LiFE.
These will be extremely beneficial to the forest department in customising forest management practises. Very soon, a Forest Soil Health Card portal is also being launched to provide a comprehensive set of parameters to expedite decision making.
A total of 31 such cards for all Forest Divisions of Jharkhand have been prepared by the Institute of Forest Productivity, Ranchi through the analysis of 16,670 samples collected from 1,311 places from forests in the State.
Had a courtesy meeting with Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren yesterday after getting appointed as a PCCF-HoFF, Jharkhand Forest Department. Also, had a productive #discussion with him on the #vision of #sustainable forest management.
I am delighted to share that I have taken charge as the PCCF & Head of Forest Force (HoFF), Department of Forest, Environment and Climate Change, Government of #jharkhand.
Looking forward to working with a collective effort towards a green and #sustainablefuture.
The Government of India has committed the #netzero emissions target by 2070 in the #glasgow convention, which has put greater onus on us to move from fossil fuel based economic models to a greener and sustainable economy for a better future.
