उन्होंने एक एक श्लोक संस्कृत में पढ़कर बताया कि इसमें स्त्रियों के बारे में असल में क्या लिखा है।

सबने अब तक यही सुना था कि मनुस्मृति स्त्रियों के खिलाफ है

लेकिन किताब में लिखा मिला कि स्त्रियों को बहुत सम्मान और इज्जत दी गई है।

घर की स्त्री को गृहलक्ष्मी और घर की शोभा कहा गया है।

एक मशहूर श्लोक भी पढ़ा गया, जिसका मतलब है कि जिस घर में स्त्रियों का सम्मान होता है वहां भगवान का वास होता है,

जिस घर में सम्मान नहीं होता वहां सब कुछ बिगड़ जाता है।

ये भी बताया कि मनु स्त्री और पुरुष में कोई फर्क नहीं करते,

दोनों को बराबर समझते हैं और स्त्रियों को पहले रास्ता देने और उनका ध्यान रखने की बात कही गई है।

चित्रा ने कहा कि वे इसी तरह पूरी किताब पढ़कर आगे भी सच सामने लाती रहेंगी।
