I had to post this lovely shot of a young buck #deer from yesterday. I just looked out the window and saw it nibbling the grass and wildflowers, not 40ft from the deck door I carefully opened, to get a couple of shots. Such a beautiful animal. Nature rules! #NaturePhotography
This is from 8 years ago. Nature can take your breath away sometimes. We were greeted with this beautiful Polyphemus #Moth on opening the door this morning. It was like finding a treasure. 🙂#Nature#NaturePhotography
I've always thought the Ruddy Duck was so cute with its black and white head and blue beak. There is something about this bird that makes me smile. This one was trying to catch up to the rest of the group, and I couldn't help but laugh at how hard it was paddling. #nature#birds
Good morning Twitter family!!
It’s been a hectic week so far and you could even say I’ve had my feathers ruffled a few times! Just like this Snowy Egret 🫠

The US has nine birds with Jay as part of their name. This is the Canada Jay, formerly called the Gray Jay. They live and raise their young in some of the harshest conditions in Canada and the western US mountains, storing food for the bleakest winter days. #birding#nature
