Washington’s concern has largely been preventing regional escalation; Israel’s priority is eliminating what it sees as an existential threat. Those aren’t contradictory positions. The idea Trump was duped is laughable.

@Mr_Andrew_Fox Without access to classified intelligence or access to the area, declaring this a genocide is driven by ideology or conclusions reached from ignorance , propaganda, or groupthink.

Interestingly, many military leaders have been far more cautious. They know war and the LOAC.

It is crazy how laypeople opine on incredibly complex issues without anywhere near the depth of knowledge and experience to be credible. Then hateful ideologues use their fame to further their agenda.

Venezuela has been fiercely critical of Israel. Yet, Israel shows up, suits up, and helps.
