I’m done. I don’t know if I’m even going to go to another game this season. Much less watch. If Shula, Day, and Teasley aren’t fired then a serious conversation has to be had about Beamer. His refusal to surround himself with good coordinators and coaches has been his downfall. It’s disgusting and as a fan it’s been an absolute waste of money. It’s sickening and a waste of my mental health, time, and money. Siri play Marvin’s room.
On LSU’s last touchdown drive they got bailed out on a fake PI call while at the same time Dylan Stewart was getting tackled as he was about to make a sack 🧐
I’m tired of it man. How is this not holding…
Spencer Rattler is playing like a FRANCHISE QB right now.
Through 5 games, Rattler has 1,113 total yards, 6 TD’s, and just 1 INT.
Rattler has more completions (119) than Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, and Baker Mayfield.
More passing yards (990) than Kyler Murray, Jalen Hurts, and Caleb Williams.
And he’s working with arguably one of the NFL’s WORST surrounding casts.
The Saints QB is playing like a first round talent 😳
I hope I'm wrong.
But tonight feels like some sort of invisible line has been crossed that we didn't even know was there. The last time I felt like this was 9/11 when it was clear, without knowing the how and the what, that the world was about to change forever.
Like the rules of the game had been permanently altered and there was simply no going to back to the innocent, peaceful past.
I didn't feel like this when an attempt was made on President Trump's life. If I had to rationalise why I didn't, I guess it's because several US Presidents have been shot at and even assassinated. Somehow it was within the realms of the possible, no matter how awful.
But to murder a young father simply for doing debates and mobilising young people to vote for a party that represents half of America? This is something else.
Charlie's death is a tragedy for his wife, his children and his family. I don't pray often. I am praying for them tonight.
But I fear his murder will be a tragedy for all of us in ways we will only understand as time unfolds.
I hope I'm wrong.
Charlie Kirk was more committed to peaceful, open dialogue with those who disagreed with him than anyone I know. God blessed him with immense gifts, and he used them boldly and without fear. He knew the risks he was taking, but he did it anyway because he loved his kids & felt a responsibility to the nation they would inhabit. I traveled the entire country with him last year, we spent 1x1 time together in Ohio two weeks ago, spoke to him again 2 days ago. He’s long warned of the rise of political violence & the growing culture of assassination, when few were willing to listen, with a clarity of vision unlike anyone I’ve known. Completely and utterly devastated.
Charlie’s entire idea was to have conversations with people who don’t see eye to eye with him so as a country we can stop resorting to extremes and instead just talk through things to find a middle ground. For that to happen to him is so heartbreaking.
Charlie Kirk has passed away at the age of 31.
A husband, a father of two, and a man of God. He completely reshaped our country and had so much ahead of him.
Gut-wrenching. Rest in peace, Charlie.
RIP Charlie Kirk. It doesn’t matter what your opinion is of Charlie or his politics if you don’t view this as one of the darkest days in American history than you are part of the problem.
