When we visited the taproom at @JellyfishBeer Peter and Fred from @BanyanExp took a peek at their barrel aging room. Some really great beers and barley wines come out of those barrels.

Kristy, a Doctor of Chocolate @docofchoc , and her husband Gavin, from Guiness in Ghana, @Diageo_News, were on my tour today and they brought me two beers from Ghana, a Guinness Smooth Stout and a Guinness Foreign Extra Stout. We stopped at @stoupbrewing for a taste their beers.

Boy, its been a busy summer, and yesterday I had my first big event in over a year and a half. To celebrate the return to the office a group from Amazon held a special team-building beer-tasting event at Stoup Brewing. @stoupbrewing

Yesterday afternoon our tour ended up at @LuckyEnvBrewing Lucky Envelope Brewing where Mikhail and River try to identify all the amazing flavors in the Peanut Butter Stout... let's see, chocolate, and coffee and yea! Peanut Butter!

I thought these two amazing women came from the Amazon, but it turns out they work at Amazon. But they were originally from Brazil, so you can excuse my confusion. The one thing Isabela and Leticia were not confused about were the great beers at @lowercasebeer

One of the things I like about my tours is when someone like Justin moves to Seattle and his best friend Kyle from upstate New York comes out for a visit & Justin decides that the most Seattle thing they could do together is go on a brewery tour. We meet at @Reubensbrews

We ended our tour with Jimmy and Dan and tried a variety of beers, including a Pilsner and an Imperial Pilsner, at @ObecBrewing. Talk about special. Did I say this was the end? They had so much fun they bought me a beer across the street at @urbanfambrewing, thanks guys!

Beer 10 of 12 Beers of Christmas. St. Charlie from @figureheadbrews ABV 11% Imperial doppelbock is inspired by the Austrian beer Samichlaus. Rich malt notes of fig and raisin, a strong lager great for sipping next to a warm fire. Mellowed by almost a year of extended lagering.
