Myth: Skipping meals is the best way to lose weight.
Fact: Skipping meals can slow your metabolism, increase hunger, and lead to overeating. Sustainable weight loss is best achieved through a balanced diet, regular physical activity, and healthy lifestyle habits.
Healthy weight loss is about consistency, not deprivation.

We are proud to share that our Department of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) and Head & Neck Surgery successfully removed a toy LED bulb lodged deep in the right lower bronchus of a 4-year-old girl, following multiple unsuccessful removal attempts at peripheral healthcare centres.
The complex procedure was successfully performed through the coordinated efforts of our multidisciplinary team led by Dr. P. R. Sahoo and Dr. Manisha Mallick (ENT), in collaboration with Dr. Basanta Kumar Behera and the Department of Anaesthesiology, along with Dr. Swadip Mishra and the Department of Respiratory Medicine.
This successful outcome reflects the expertise, teamwork, and advanced emergency care available at KIMS, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our young patients.

This achievement reflects the power of perseverance, quality education and dedicated mentorship. We congratulate our students on this remarkable success and wish them the very best for the journey ahead.
There's a stillness right before a decision that changes everything. Chess teaches you to sit inside that silence and choose wisely. It's a lesson we try to instil in every KISS student, on the board and off it.
