Confident in deals. Trusted in execution.
I move value across Africa’s trade lanes.
I've been building businesses since 2015. If there's one thing I've learned, it's that building a business will humble you in ways no Twitter thread can prepare you for.
You can have a great product and still struggle with distribution.
You can raise money and still struggle to build a sustainable business.
You can have customers who love your product and still not have product-market fit.
And you can spend years building without being entirely sure you're solving the right problem.
As African tech continues to evolve, I find myself thinking less about the next big idea and more about the difficult questions we don't discuss enough.
What does it really take to build enduring African tech companies?
Are we building businesses that can survive without constantly raising capital?
How do we get more people to pay for the value we create?
What will it take to build technology companies that compete globally without losing sight of the problems at home?
These are the conversations I want to have at Moonshot.
What's one question about building in African tech that you want answered?
Let's get the conversation started before we get to Moonshot.

Every Monday, I’ll be sharing opportunities I find interesting.
Grants, scholarships, fellowships, and anything else worth applying for.
How can you support?
Apply to whatever catches your interest, and all I ask is that you RT so someone else can see it and benefit too.
Be audacious this week. Take what belongs to Caesar and his brother-in-law. Gather everything that glitters. If it’s not gold, turn it into scrap.
No opportunity is too big. No application is beneath you.
Happy new week. Go get yours! 🚀
