Parents are guardians, not owners of their children. They do not own them in any moral, legal, or philosophical sense. Every human being has the right to life, liberty, and free choice and no tradition, culture, or religion can override those rights.

The idea of "honour" tied to a woman’s choices is deeply flawed. Honour does not reside in controlling someone else’s life. It is not found in obedience or submission.

To defend a misplaced sense of family honour through violence is not strength. It is cowardice. It is a dastardly crime.
Communities and individuals who justify honour killings betray justice, obstruct progress, and poison humanity. They are not defending culture, they are dooming it to stagnation and decline.

There is no honour in murder.

There is only fear, ego and violence trying to disguise itself as tradition
