So much of cinema's power comes from believing that theres another human mind on the other side of the screen conversing with you. Someone who made hundereds small, big, deliberate, specific choices in every single frame.

The tragedy of AI art isn't even that it looks bad, it's that it forces you to become a skeptic. The moment you start wondering if a gesture, a certain pacing, a duration of pause was intentional or just a program hallucinating, calculating probabilities,...the immersion dies, the magic disappears.

L'injonction à la blancheur est un sacré fléau pour les femmes qui la subissent, mais tout centrer autour des "blancs" (occidentaux) c'est se gourer complètement.

La blancheur dans les cultures asiatiques est historiquement associée à un mode de vie aisé, pour se distinguer du bas peuple qui travaillait au soleil. C'est resté depuis.
Alors qu'à l'inverse, en Occident, c'est le bronzage qui est associé à la richesse, car signe d'un mode de vie permettant de voyager au soleil. (Par contraste aux époques antérieures, comme l'ère victorienne par exemple, où il fallait avoir un teint pâle maladif pour donner une impression de vulnérabilité.)

Il faut arrêter d'analyser chaque culture sous un prisme occidental. Ce sont les pays d'Afrique subsaharienne qui souffrent de colorisme à cause du colonialisme occidental.

Chaque situation culturelle a sa spécificité, et on ne peut appliquer une seule et même lecture au monde entier. Tout lire sous un paradigme qui ramène systématiquement à l'Occident, c'est gommer ces spécificités historiques et culturelles.

Idéalement, aucune femme ne devrait subir de pression à se blanchir, rester blanche, ou encore à bronzer. Certainement pas via des méthodes néfastes pour la santé, telles que les crèmes dépigmentantes (tchoko) ou les expositions répétées aux UVs.
Aucune couleur de peau n'est plus belle qu'une autre.
