food and drinks consumed in a movie theater doesn’t really go into your body. it goes into your movie theater body which is separate & holy and harm-proof
Backrooms theatre experience:
- I might’ve been the oldest person there
- you could hear a pin drop besides little one off comments to seat neighbours
- no reaction to the ending
- pool of people outside the cinema nodding going,”that was sick”.
Cinema is back.
@FreddyInSpace@BDisgusting Dude…I think they’re taking on practically an army of Jason’s!!! In the trailer it eludes to a “group” of the super soldiers
I actually can’t stop thinking about how dark Obsession’s second half is like it actually starts off slow but it gets more and more sinister until the third act is disturbing and batshit crazy. Not one single pacing issue through the entire film I’m obsessed

I shall say it again like a broken record. One of Steven Spielberg's best films and one of the best blockbusters of the 2000s. A film that has aged beautifully and has only gotten more terrifying.
Are you kidding me?
Are you fucking kidding me right now?
Is this fucking joke?
Fukushima? Really?
I mean, Japan did some pretty awful stuff in WW2, but... Fukushima?
Of all the ridiculous things to feel guilty over...
Fukushima was hit by multiple 50 foot tidal waves from a 9.1 earthquake at sea. That's not a fucking nuclear accident. That's your nuclear plant being hit by the hammer of god.
And after that, you contained it. You took the hand fate dealt you and you played it with everything you had. You had workers volunteering to be heroes, to stay and fight to shut that thing down.
And you saved... everyone. Not a single clearly connected death. In the middle of a natural disaster that cost you fifteen thousand souls, your people fought this thing and won.
Chernobyl is something for Russians to be ashamed of, because that was their own screwup, and stupid communists can't do anything right.
Fukushima wasn't your screwup. Fukushima happened to you. And your men stopped it.
Fukushima is not your national shame.
It is one of your finest hours.
Can't tell you how excited I am that we have a new dinosaur film that is not related to the Jurassic Park/Jurassic World franchise.
As much as I love Jurassic, we need more big budget dinosaur films with different stories.
Ex-Blockbuster employee here. And I mean it with 100% sincerity that the world would be a better place if we shut down all streaming services, re-opened Blockbusters and video stores worldwide, and shoved people back out into the world to find and enjoy their entertainment.
Invincible starts tomorrow. Dune 3 trailer today. Spiderman Brand New Day trailer tomorrow. Daredevil next week. Project Hail Mary on Thursday.
