@MattP1Gallagher What are you smoking? His goal is to become world champion. That's not gonna happen with these clowns. Even when we've had a competitive car, the strategy always failed it. It'll take another schumacher+brawn+todt combo for this team to be whipped into shape.
@traptist3@BlizzardCS@RobertTate10 Gives me real piratesoftware vibes tbh. Also probably some unpaid intern or underpaid employee who does things nobody else wants to do, maybe that's why they keep him around, if he hasn't been fired since tbh.
@Warcraft you guys run out of villains or what? first it was KT, then deathwing and knock off deathwings, now saladbar, maybe let chris metzen cook and fire the rest of the writing team?
@itsneryssa It would be a new engine and better servers in theory. Most of the current game's limitations is the ancient engine, technical, or game systems wise. It'd also be a great opportunity for the story to be set at a different time period with different races, villains, or even planet
@marcrock100@damedevelo@timforeuk@JeremyClarkson Yea there's no universe where the majority of the world gets enough infrastructure to support EVs being the dominant part of the market. Even in capital cities, every charging place is always full. It's too expensive and the power plant requirements would be insane.
@PaulInTheUK@timforeuk@JeremyClarkson SUVs are usually the heaviest passenger vehicles, so when you add batteries to them you're making a vehicle that can go on roads that are not meant for buses and trucks, but with twice the weight of the average car, thus causing damage. It's pretty straight forward.
@PaulInTheUK@timforeuk@JeremyClarkson What the fuck are you talking about? The fact that a tesla is lighter than a mercedes doesn't mean batteries are lighter than engines whatsoever. If said tesla had a combustion engine, it would've been even lighter. Combining huge cars with batteries is the heaviest combo by far.
@damedevelo@timforeuk@JeremyClarkson Huge SUVs with combustion engines are also pointless. People just buy them because they're bigger. Then other people buy them because they're at a disadvantage against huge SUVs in case of a collision. It's just gonna keep getting worse.
@eudaimonia8888 @JeremyClarkson Yangwang U8. It does have an engine as a range extender but also has quite a lot of batteries. If it was purely EV it would probably have been even heavier, because it would most likely need double the batteries. 3460kg kerb weight btw.
@JeremyClarkson Just you wait until the market gets flooded with Chinese electric SUVs that weigh almost 3500kg with no passengers. That's the same weight as 2 new family cars.
@timforeuk@JeremyClarkson You can defend EVs in things that they actually do well, but your claims are straight up bs. How can an engine be as heavy as a floor filled with very heavy batteries? Even most massive V12s used by Lamborghini weigh less than the batteries of a typical EV sedan.
@timforeuk@JeremyClarkson There isn't a single car model that has an EV and hybrid/pure combustion, that the EV doesn't massively outweigh it's counterpart. 4 series BMWs go up to 1800kg, their hybrids 1900kg, the i4 up to 2300kg. VW ID.3 vs golf, same platform, the ID3 weighs 500kg more than the golf R.
@Asmongold The USA started most, if not all, of the wars in the middle east the past decades, your education system is an utter joke and you're clueless about anything outside the U.S. like most "internet personalities". So, no, nobody really gives a fuck about ur opinion on the matter.
@JoelOrdinary@Warcraft In BFA we had N'Zoth die to a friendship laser, G'huun just some failed experiment, in SL we had Sylvanas go woopsie wasn't really me, jailer with his master plan just being some bot, in DF we had the temu aspect wannabes, at least Xalatath actually won for now, so it's something
