i've been thinking about this interview a lot and I feel AI coding may be the next literacy expansion
just as mass reading/writing let far more people participate in institutions, commerce, culture, and public life, natural language software creation may let far more people participate in building tools, products, automations, and systems
if you've watched the show "Vikings" or any other depicting that era - it shows in the past, making pigments, inks, and writing materials required specialized knowledge
early creators had to understand the ingredients, recipes, and physical craft of making color before they could paint or write. over time, those layers were commoditized. the creative frontier moved upward from making ink to choosing language, composition, voice, taste, and intent
code may be going through the same shift
frameworks, libraries, app structures, and developer tools were designed for people who had to manipulate the “pigments” directly. as implementation becomes more commoditized, the ecosystem will likely reorganize around expression, judgment, orchestration, product taste, and higher-level intent
i believe we are about to see more builders than ever
codebase engineering is the new meta
- this is all about how to structure your codebase for long term success with agentic development
- the key point here is that curated dev opinions and structure + tech stack + rules early on while setting up new projects will make your codebase more maintainable and set you up for long term success
- working on a scaffold skill to scaffold a typescript repo with all the best practices + tech stack that i like
- a key point is that lint is your friend and you should keep adding more rules to it as you find weird patterns
30% chance to win 10000 $MON? not bad at all
@RugRumble is the only place in the world where the more gambloors lose, the more they can win
grumbilla feeds well 😈
monad gets a lot of shit consistently
the idea that this is the next Bera or gonna end up like the other alt l1s is laughable
the team has consistently proved over 3 years that they aren’t looking for the quick or easy way
locked staking is what was the most egregious example of “VCs being evil” and something that we as industry had let slide for far too long
monad not allowing it clearly shows not only the team’s but also their backer’s commitment to the long term success of the chain
