5/5 We see Chicken find more of his own strengths while Cat is learning to be a kid again. The summer they thought was going to be boring ended up being a great one and it made me appreciate all the summers i spend with my grandparents even more. #ASUreads #caterpillarSummer

1/5 For our project, I read Caterpillar Summer by @gillianmcdunn . I absolutely loved this story, it follows a girl named Cat who is tasked with looking after her younger special needs brother named Chicken. Cat has no problem with this. #ASUreads #caterpillarSummer

4/5 We see even more of Cat trying to hold the family together while she’s trying to repair her moms relationship with Macon. In this, we see Cat and Macon’s relationship grow stronger as well. As well as Chicken growing himself. #ASUreads #CaterpillarSummer
