@NEUnion Kevin mentioned a need to look at EHCPs not automatically categorising pupils as ‘vulnerable’. Does the NEU have any guidance on what specifically should see individual pupils classified as vulnerable and therefore able to continue to attend school?
@PaulGarvey4 I’ve always said if schools are to close/have extended breaks, it would only be secondary schools that do. Comes down to conservatives prioritising economy - parents of primary kids not able to work from home effectively or go to work if their kids are not in school. So wrong
@MissLg20 @PaulGarvey4@TeacherToolkit @LeaderPrimary @MrTs_NQTs@TeachPrimary England. Build up your experience and resources, figure out your work/life balance with friends/family around to support you. It will make your time abroad more enjoyable. I did it, (I’m Australian) and I’ve ended up staying ‘abroad’ for 14 years and counting!
Head teachers need to plan. Pupils need to learn. Parents need certainty. Staff need to work safely.
What is the scientific advice?
What is the plan to keep pupils learning NEXT WEEK?
What is the plan for testing?
When will staff receive vaccines?
Any answers @GavinWilliamson?
