@japan_nobunaga I learned to drive a dirt bike at eight and then my dad's truck at ten. It was easy to learn because I was used to a clutch from riding my dirt bike. My parents would let me go to the store down the street at thirteen. I'm 47 now. Been driving forever.
Justice has been served. The murderer of Austin Metcalf will pay for his crime. My hope is he never gets parole. He has shown no remorse and it was never self defense.
@ChestyLaRu1@kittenaround_51 Usually share? You ate a whole cake at least once. Probably a little round one with berries on top. Or was it a full on sheet cake that feeds fifty? Not judging. Just amused by your choice of words.
@KeruboSk It's very freeing. When I worked in a office 14 years ago I used makeup daily and even on weekends. I don't like thinking about all the time I wasted hiding what I really looked like. I'm happy how I look and that's all I care about.
Exactly one year ago today, Austin Metcalf was murdered in broad daylight.
The man responsible is now sitting at home on house arrest - enjoying freedom and time with his family.
He admitted to the act, saying: βIβm not alleged. I did it.β
He spent just 12 days in jail.
His bond was reduced.
Over half a million dollars was raised.
He was allowed to graduate.
And he is allegedly now attending college.
And somehow, this is what justice looks like?
This is a complete dishonor to the real victim - Austin Metcalf.
As Charlie Kirk said:
βImagine believing that murderers deserve condolences, not their victims. The divide in America is between anyone with a grip on reality, and the clinically insane.β Those who support the killer are exactly that: clinically insane.
Austin deserved better. And we are not going to let his name be forgotten.
We will be watching.
We will be speaking.
And we will demand justice at trial.
Today, we remember Austin Metcalf.
We pray for his grieving family.
Do not give attention to the killer.
Do not amplify his name.
Say Austinβs name.
A life taken too soon - by a culture that believes accountability will never come.
Weβre going to change that.
FOR AUSTIN.
RIP AUSTIN METCALF

I tried this new place in Wolflin Village called Chicken Salad Chick. I've never had a better croissant and the chicken salad I chose was amazing. The soup and fruit were really good. I can't wait to go back. You even get tiny cookies with the meal.
