Hi Students. Have you felt intimidated by the administration's messaging on classes/labs? I know you have; I've heard it from many of you.
You won't see this in a Newsline or on the Labour Relations page, but here's a quote from the Acting Provost to CBC today.
As you were.
Students were great today - stop bringing us stuff guys - we feel guilty. But highlight was the staff people that used their lunch to stand in the sleet with their own signs.
thank you to @MUNFaculty for having the bravery to fight for the university today!❤️ I know some of you were worried about students’ reactions to the strike, but there is clearly a huge amount of support among students - we support you and are proud of you!!!! #FairDealAtMUN
The AASUA is donating $4,000 to support striking academic staff @MUNFaculty.
While it is disheartening to see multiple #pse employers pushing academic staff to job action this week, it is inspiring to see these workers are prepared to stand up for a fair deal.

Protesting last year into this year is the only reason this happened.
The amount of pressure and force required to get ANY sort of movement on this is impressive and heartbreaking at the same time.
i saw a lot of boys asking about what they can do to make women feel more comfortable and rightfully so so here is a thread <3 there are plenty more to be said but this is just a start
