I am in the same boat, I failed by a couple marks in clinical last July and delayed my second sitting to June this year. I have been left jobless, unsupported, and unheard. 😔 @TheGPhC@gmabbam@BBCNews
why make the process hard for us trainees, there’s empty pharmacies with no pharmacists/closures,let us qualify and make change to our community, why make the exam difficult and throw us off with questions that we’ve never seen before? This is unfair and we need change! @TheGPhC
Super proud of @marvinmunzu and the pre reg shortcuts team and everyone involved in organising and attending the protest!!!! @TheGPhC please we deserve equality
We would like to say thank you to the delegation of candidates that met with us yesterday to discuss problems with the #RegistrationAssessment. They gave dignified, powerful accounts of their experiences. We'll be discussing the delegation's requests with our Council this week.
I think that's basic consumer law. Whether it applies to professional exams or not I don't know, but all of this is just wrong and unfair. For all trainees this year.
In any service where a contract is made ie a payment is exchanged, there is in expectation that the service will be delivered. It doesn't appear this has happened.
@thegphc none of the trainee pharmacists that sat the exam should be required to appeal, request annulment or anything else. You should be taking the action and making the decisions, not them. They've paid for a service, and not got one up to standard.
@TheGPhC Didn’t you offer delayed-start candidates a free attempt? There are more candidates with issues so why haven’t you offered the same across the board? Is it because @bbcemt reported on that one small portion of the fiasco, there are many more problems to address here.
#gphc#gphcexam#equality#Pharmacist#NHS All trainees should be offered the same options considering ALL were affected. The least they can do is lower the grade boundaries & do not count this as an attempt if students fail. The exam wasn’t properly regulated in the first place
Surveys are not being acknowledged. Apologies will not help us pay our bills. We deserve better. Something needs to be done to make the results fair. It's affecting people's mental health. How is this okay #gphcexam
This is the story so far about @TheGPhC June 2022 #RegistrationAssessment#gphcexam that trainee pharmacists have told us & @GPPharmaSid about.
This piece also includes support for mental health, possible solutions and next steps.

This doesn't affect me directly, aside from we are expecting some new pharmacists to join us (like, 6?) but it's important that senior pharmacists call people to account because nobody else will. Who defends those who suffer most?
So to be clear @thegphc you are asking candidates to make a decision by 6th July to annul their exam sitting, when none if it was their fault? This is unfair to put that pressure on them: it's for you to sort the fallout, not them. I'm ashamed.
We understand that mocks are not official questions but the sample questions given online are not representative of the exam at all, we were given a lengthy worded online exam which is impossible to do in the timeframe @TheGPhC, the board of assessors should be investigated!
