@thehouseofpod Yes those of us with IBD(stricture, fistula, ileostomy, flare monthly) go 2-5 times a day off a single serving of fibre and 8-10 off 3+...need to adopt this advice w caution. Yes, I know about the risk of colorectal cancer but I have to live in these in-between years, somehow.

I work 2/3 of full time so paid for 3.5 NHS days (haha etc). Mine started late 2015, relapse for 4 months 2018 when I tried 4 days. Have gone up 2 hrs at a time since.
Aware I am lucky to manage financially. Learn to say no!!!

@DrGeropsych We use it for morphine-resistant cancer pain - never WITH pregabalin tho. Both in life-limiting disease - apical lung tumours involving the brachial plexus, RT does most of the work, not all, and eg. post axillary nodal clearance. What's the alternative, she might live decades?

@GuitarmoogMusic I'm so sorry to hear this. Sometimes even though there's grief in these decisions there is relief too, that I'm not mentally flogging myself anymore. Mine are smaller "never"s - take postgrad exams/be a consultant/train for anything concurrently with working/work full time.

@PippaCrerar The pre decimal currency I have no idea about. I weigh myself in stones, guesstimate distances in miles or yards, and can cook equally in lb/oz or grams. Some of that was learned pre school - I'm 40, my parents if alive would be 70.

Was planning at work for full year of med students from Sept 20 regardless of how bad. The responsibility for them with no death in service benefit
