Brexit isn’t working, and the British people know it. They're fed up with the damage caused by the deal forced on us by Conservative party.
Keir Starmer must show some courage and set Britain on a clear path to a new customs union with the EU by 2030.
"The way to see off the populist right isn’t to cower in its shadow; it’s to step up and offer a compelling, positive alternative."
@EdwardJDavey calling for a new, positive relationship with Europe including a UK-EU customs union.
@JoshBabarinde The first time I spoke to Josh, it was clear he has what’s needed to lead the LibDems forward.
He works hard, is great fun & can turn our values into action. So many people outside of politics like him & feel inspired by him. It’s a no brainer #Josh4President#LibDem 🧡🔶🧡
The government must publish the legal advice it’s received on Netanyahu’s grotesque restriction of aid to Gazans.
There can be no denying it any longer. Israel has egregiously breached international law.
🚨 RIGHT NOW opposite Labour Party HQ in London.
We’ve turned their street into Jabaliya camp in Gaza. A genocide is happening, but the Labour government is supplying weapons, intelligence and diplomatic cover to the perpetrator. Protesting this is not terrorism.
This isn't a theoretical risk. It is clear UK is a target for ongoing Russia interference. Elon Musk, a foreign national, is already subverting UK political processes.
Legal team (@LeighDay_Law) now considering options inc appealing to the Grand Chamber. Stay tuned.

And the DCMS report included some examination of witnesses but was not conducted under oath. It had no investigatory powers.
Plus the idea that the Conservatives' Elections Act is going to defend us against foreign state interference is for the birds.
6/
The legal team were unable to push back because case was heard 'on the papers', ie no oral argument.
But it's completely false to claim that UK undertook two substantive investigations into foreign interference: the so-called Russia Report & DCMS committee on fake news.
The Russia Report revealed the exact opposite! That no proper investigation *had* taken place
5/
The court agreed there were 'shortcomings in the Government's initial response'.
But it bought the UK's defence that a) it had already investigated foreign interference and b) it has put in place new legislative protections since.
4/
Here's the meat of the judgement. The court upheld the first two points. It only refused the third and final point.
The legal team said they were amazed by how far the court had gone in upholding the bulk of their arguments, and that the ruling opens the door to many other potential cases.
2/
NEW: The court did not find a breach of the law.
BUT it upheld 2/3 points inc that foreign interference (inc disinfo) *is* a threat to fair elections (which UK had denied!)
Lawyers say hugely significant judgement with far-reaching consequences. AND that an appeal should be considered

Mass starvation in Gaza and over 1,000 Palestinians killed while seeking aid since May. The government says the situation is intolerable yet they continue to tolerate it.
The UK needs to stop all arms exports to the Israeli Government - today.
David Lammy must realise that we’re past the point of threatening sanctions.
Every day the Government sits on its hands, more innocent civilians are being killed in Gaza while over a million are at risk of starvation.
Sanctions are needed now, including against Netanyahu.
