Can anyone recommend an international mover? I had a good experience with the company I used to move my things to the UK in 2014 (Champion), but the quote they just gave me to move it all back has left me with major sticker shock.
Hey @NYSDOHMEDICAID, I've been on hold with NYC's HRA for over 45 minutes. I just have a basic question re: eligibility for someone w/a disability (answer should be easily answered online, but it's not). Shocked but not surprised that this is how you treat people on Medicaid.
Two tragedies on the subway tracks today—one in Bay Ridge on the R line and the other on the 1 line at 86th. A cop on every platform does nothing to prevent that. When will @MTA start taking track safety seriously and install guard rails? @KathyHochul@ericadamsfornyc
I’m looking for a temporary research assistant for research in the National Archives at Kew - a fairly tight turnaround but can be flexible as well - please RT
@rachsyme Went to the amusement park w/camp. Dad gave me $5 and told me not to waste it on one of the games. I did anyway and won a giant, newspaper-stuffed polar bear in a Hawaiian shirt. I bounded up the stairs when I got home to tell my dad—“Guess what!!”—and he seemed genuinely proud.
"the City Council has already approved about $20 million in police-related settlements so far in 2022, putting the police department on pace to surpass the $82 million it budgeted for settlements and judgments this year." https://t.co/Auw39eq1Pt
The juxtaposition of news from TX and Chicago right now is galling. Cops stood by as teachers sacrificed themselves for students in Uvalde. Meanwhile, CPS is asked to fill budget gaps caused in part by tens of millions in payouts for police misconduct. https://t.co/7ZaQkZ6wXN
