I am focused on adapting and accommodating myself well enough through the tasks of daily life to stop losing ground. A stable baseline remains the goal. But tackling things in 2-5 min increments followed by rest is helping. New habits

@MoriartyLab Can you point me to where to find current AB wastewater COVID data? The AB gov website mentions taking it away from the universities and giving it Alberta Health and Alberta Precision Labs. But the site only links to the universities monitoring flu and RSV. Grr.

@LauraMiers I have friends who had to give birth wearing masks. It is beyond time to make anti-vaxxer synonymous with soft and weak because they really are. Women laboured in masks. Kids with sensory sensitivities endured wearing them. The only conclusion left is that they're pathetic.

@jessyroos I believe this is the UCPs fault because they changed the pay structure, so doctors are paid less for phone appointments than in person visits. Family doctors work really long hours and need to pay for overhead, so I don't blame them. But the government has the power to change it

Honestly, if you haven't had to parent during the pandemic, just like if you didn't have to teach during the pandemic, your experience just isn't comparable. The oldest people living were babies during the last pandemic so this experience is unique. All I can say is Do Not Judge

@musicalsplainin I'm really pretty disappointed that you couldn't let it be what it was. A musical based on hundreds of hours of interviews about a real-life event in Gander. It is a Canadian musical. It isn't centering America. It isn't centering NYC on 9/11. Or the Islamophobia that followed.

@DavidLepofsky @Disability_WP @prospercan Honestly, even if the government of Alberta manages to prevent this to applying to my household, which relies of food banks inspite of LTD income, I will still be grateful for those I know who will be spared homelessness due to it. Our safety net has human sized holes in it.

@jessyroos This is adjacent to requiring in person work when the job doesn't require it. Please let us keep our spoons. We are able to function better in our work and other responsibilities when our energy isn't used on unnecessary travel to and fro.

@anarchodelphis @GosiaGasperoPhD Sadly, this is incredibly common. Women are more likely to stay from a sense of obligation if their partner becomes ill, even if they had been on the brink of leaving. Men bolt. If he doesn't care for you in health, he definitely won't in sickness.
