I think we would all live a bit better if we daily asked ourselves, "Am I honoring God in this?" and boldly followed through in humility and obedience when the answer is "no".
Christianity isn’t an aesthetic, it’s a lifestyle of surrendering to a Holy God that we don’t deserve but through the atonement of Jesus Christ dying for our sake, we are welcomed into the kingdom.
Dear Christian: God isn’t angry at you for feeling disappointment. I believe God is fully okay with us grieving a past season while simultaneously trusting & knowing the next one will be better. Jesus felt too. He gets it. He knew He’d resurrect but still wept in the garden. ❤️
“For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will tell this mountain; ‘move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20
at some point we have have to stop trying to force what we want and hiding it behind a prayer.
just because it's what WE want doesn't mean it's what God has for us.
God let YOUR WILL be done, not our own.
