We had the chance to host a group of Climate Action Officers at @hometree__ earlier this summer. We chatted about the potential climate impact of community centred nature projects and urged them to keep nature at the forefront of their work on climate 🌱

Successful expedition with @rayofoghlu & @SarahBroderick_ to re-find Wilson’s filmy-fern at only known site on the Burren limestones, Poulavallan. Found here first in 1963 by the late Prof DA Webb who published his account in @InjJournal. Seemingly not recorded here in over 50yr

@hometree__ I've been shocked by it's abundance in the woodlands of Tipperary. Like you say, the flowers are pretty right now, but the dark and empty woodland floor beneath is a worrying sight.

Came across a seal pup today during our icy lunchtime walk (not in pic). Unsure if they were sunbathing or in trouble we called @seal_rescue and sent them some videos so they could assess. So impressed with the hotline, thanks for the help and advice!
