Today is the #Inglorious12th - the start of the red grouse shooting season. This outdated, unjust “sport” is underpinned by crime, and supports nothing but a scorched landscape which is void of balanced biodiversity.

Well what a day yesterday was ! Got to see the bearded Vulture #Lammergeier thanks to @kev_jin for being my guide ! Well worth the crazy trip im not a picture taker so no pics but the experience was amazing!

So impulse decided to get a train and bus this morning to hopefully see the #Lammergeier at the peak district I'm sure regardless of whether I see it it will be worth the 3hrs there and 3 hrs back !

What’s bloody glorious about this ? A first year Golden Golden eagle which was seen flying in the Crathie area of Deeside with a trap attached to its leg . The photo was taken last Thursday by a tourist and the bird has not been seen since . Please RT
