Scully has her own desk now, and there’s plenty of room for it btw. It is very well organized, has a plant, snacks, and a shiny silver name plaque in front.
The journey that Scully and Mulder take through the X-Files is profound. They make a momentous decision together in the last scene of the penultimate episode, Nothing Lasts Forever. What was her whispered “leap of faith forward”? Leaving the FBI, and the X-Files, for good. (1/20)
@caricle60@HerNameIsSpooky that one was conceived while they were shooting the second movie *and* he went to treatment for s** addiction right afterwards...
@acili0b vaguely remember Stephen King might have regretted it later? Hopefully? But they somehow made the whole thing worse in the first movie. They took out “the scene’ which is good, but made up for it by changing the story to objectify 11 year-old Bev over and over😠
@mulderpie It took forever, not sure how I feel abt the result but was fun & here she is. I drew her with a green glow, in the background and in front. I was imagining maybe Mulder would take her to a ufo exhibit, or, just catching fireflies in the woods with Scully.
@SlippinMickeys so well said. The show is so much more than the sum of its parts. It seems impossible to capture that particular magic, but if they go in with a viewpoint (hopefully that aligns with the fans), smart casting and some luck, it could be great in its own right.
