@Chopper_Mallett @AliceTalksFooty You should read the history, the women's team started in 1977 and it stemmed from the supporters club. It didn't become part of "Manchester United" until 2001, it was then disbanded by the glazers in 2005 and then re-established in 2018.

@SirAlfredWaz Because in years previous (not so much fire service but certainly police) certain groups were treated less favourably, such as ethnic minorities, LGBT persons, women. All felt unsafe around public services. So no it's not a given for all people to feel safe due to a uniform.

Genuinely disgusted by the comments on this post.. it's so hurtful to think I would run into a burning building to save/help some of these people without a second thought. Acceptance of others right to live freely does not take away from yours #dobetter
