4 days dismantling & moving beds and furniture to have new carpets fitted & then putting it all back again! Absolutely exhausted!! Spending the next 2 days snuggled at home, probably in pjs, and working on my embroidery! Pure bliss 😊

Waited 15 years to be able to afford new carpets in my 2 bedrooms. Ordered and payed for them in June, due to be fitted in 2 weeks time…….company has gone bust……I could actually cry 😭
Now to try and get my money back!! 🙈

They broke up last Thursday for 8 WEEKS HOLS!!! It’s only Tuesday of the first full week and I’m already exhausted! Looking after 2 boys both with autism & ADHD is stressful, exhausting & quite often exasperating but no…..at least I haven’t done this 🤣🤣

This is all so interesting! Had a feeling I had poor blood sugar control but really pleased the rest was good! Lots of reading and meal planning to do now to get my scores up & to keep them there!

It was a bit of a battle to put them together but I’m so happy with them!!! They are going to make my embroidery work so much easier!! Can’t wait to try them out soon 😊

Spent the morning in the sun, sitting by a pool…..unfortunately is was just for D’s school biathlon but not a bad way to spend the morning 🤣

2nd day of food challenges! Yesterday was plain oats made with water. Not the best but ok. Today was this……and yes I know exactly what it looks like 🤣 but it’s actually 3tbsp of crunchy almond butter! Took a while to get that one down!! Glucose results were fairly similar!

Started this at the weekend. The test cookies were hard work but it’s interesting to monitor my blood glucose throughout each day. Looking forward to getting all my results in a few weeks.
