I had my cousin with me today when I was doing my hive inspection and he took these photos. For those unfamiliar with me I’m a first year beekeeper and I keep Irish Native Bees

@johncreedon myself, Dave and Shadow the dog are loving your selection of tracks tonight (as always) listening in our kitchen in Ballymacelligott, Co Kerry particularly Joan Armatrading. Shadow is almost 13 now and has enjoyed listening to you since we adopted him 6 yrs ago
@CatAndTheHounds I had a lurcher (greyhound, deerhound, wolfhound, Irish terrier mix) when I was growing up who would very delicately pick blackberries so as not to get prickled 😅 She was an absolute menace in the veg garden when she discovered peas and beans 😂😂 we had to fence it off
Tonight’s delicious sup of choice (thanks to a trip over the border to Belfast) is Greene King Abbot Premium Ale. Without wanting to get political about the ins and outs of government policy Brexit really bolloxed up any Real Ale imports to Ireland
Thinking today, on the tenth anniversary of the Berkeley tragedy, of Aoife Beary, Olivia Burke, Eoghan Culligan, Ashley Donohoe, Lorcán Miller, Niccolai Schuster and Eimear Walsh, and of their family and friends. They will always be remembered as part of the @ucddublin community.
Their performance was incredible!!! Dave and his 2 mates ended up abandoning their tent that night because of the weather and sleeping in a Fiat 125. But it’s still one of his favourite gigs ever RIP Brian Wilson
@johncreedon Sarah, Dave and Shadow dog listening to you in the kitchen in Ballymac, Kerry. Dave saw The Beach Boys at Knebworth in 1980, it poured rain for the whole day!Despite the weather the band arrived to the stage by white helicopter dressed in white suits ⬇️
I’ve a big, charitable favour to ask, a 🧵:
1. Over the years I’ve had the humbling privilege of being able to spend time with terminally ill children and their families. Showing them round the farm, meeting the horses, dressing them up, and “deputising” them.
