Well - try to send a parcel from a mainland UK postcode to Northern Ireland postcode via Hermes (biggest specialist consumer parcel company) and you get a message that you can no longer ship GB-> NI via UK site and are redirected to international site ....👇🏾

Reality: the EU has 2 sets of rules. One for EU members, one for everyone else. On 1 January 2021, the "everyone else" rules (not remotely as favourable as the member ones) will apply to the UK too.
