On 11 June 2026, Sikyong Penpa Tsering of the Central Tibetan Administration was warmly welcomed upon his arrival in Berlin at the start of his official tour of Germany by Representative Thinlay Chukki and UN Advocacy Officer Phuntsok Topgyal from the Tibet Bureau in Geneva; Mr. Dundup Donka, President of the Tibetan Community in Germany; and members of the local Tibetan community.
His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama was formally presented with the Grammy Award by Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, accompanied by Amaan Ali Bangash, Ayaan Ali Bangash, and Kabir Gill Sehgal at his residence in Dharamshala on 3 June 2026.
