In the opening pages of ‘Lessons’ we give an example of how the Tory party have been weaponising @educationgovuk for years. This is the latest iteration - sadly not surprising. It’s what we mean by the ‘war on teachers’. https://t.co/k5ZmYA3oVy
@ccooper1309 @PastoralKaty How does this work for teachers with floating leave? That relies on supply - I’d spend so long preparing resources and planning for someone else to deliver, or would be totally stress, deafest if the purpose. Also, who funds the supply? This solution does not work for teachers.
@educationgovuk@GillianKeegan Adopt technology? Schools can’t afford it….. unless you’re referring to the AI that’s apparently going to do all my planning now ????
@SaulStaniforth@DanielKebedeNEU @MaryBoustedNEU More damaging is owverworked, underpaid staff with low morale - that’s if you can get the staff. What’s even more damaging is an unfunded pay rise that will impact education more by creating more budget slashes and staff cut backs.
