I have tried not to weigh in since I left the State Department and the Biden admin — but this piece from my old boss @ABlinken gets it right. https://t.co/pGPSuGWZvP

Great turnout yesterday in Warwick to celebrate 10 years of @clothestokidsri!
This is about community and ensuring every school-age child has clothing that allows them to attend school with confidence and the self-esteem needed to achieve academic success.
Great to see @CoryBooker and other good friends last night!
Cory’s powerful words about the late great Congressman John Lewis and his leadership during the civil rights movement and beyond reminded us of what is important.
Proud to share that I’ve joined the board of @clothestokidsRI!
Clothing plays a major role in helping kids fit in with their peers and building the confidence they need to thrive academically.
To date, they’ve provided 14,000+ wardrobes to children in 16 cities & towns in RI.
What better way to honor International Women’s Day than with a great group of women in Providence?
The candor and dynamism in the room was real. Thank you @eva_mancuso, @alison_bologna, Grace Dugan, and Anika Kimble-Huntley!

I was sad to learn of Friedrich St. Florian’s recent passing. Friedrich taught architecture at @RISD for over 50 years and was well-known for designing the National World War II memorial in DC.
I feel fortunate to see his work every time I pull into our driveway in Saunderstown.
President Carter was ahead of his time in recognizing the importance of the African continent, as he was on many issues.
May his memory be a blessing. (2/2)
President Jimmy Carter was a remarkable man, a forward thinker who dedicated his life to public service.
In 1977, President Carter appointed my mother (an Africa advisor to him at the time) as U.S. Representative on the U.N. Commission for Social Development. (1/2)
Today, I was honored to administer the oath of office to new appointees to the United States Holocaust Memorial Council.
The Council is integral to the @HolocaustMuseum’s work in teaching millions of people each year about the dangers of unchecked hatred.
@USAmbChina@PKUYCA Thank you Ambassador Burns for your tremendous public service to the country and support to the American students, including my son Henry Morgenthau Wessel.
The Yenching Academy at PKU is an important part of building US-China relations.
I joined many friends and colleagues at the White House Friday night to celebrate President Biden, the First Lady, and the incredible accomplishments made over the past four years.
Grateful for the opportunity to serve my country as part of this truly historic administration.
